AI-Augmented PM

Speed up decisions and delivery with AI: delegate to an assistant, prioritise by outcomes, write specs engineers and agents understand, then measure the effect of what you ship.

  • 5 courses
  • 14 hr 15 min
  • Junior to Advanced

Who it is for

  • Product managers and product owners who want to bring AI into their daily work, from discovery to measurement.
  • PMs who work with AI coding agents or are getting ready to.
  • PMs who want to back their decisions with data.

Prerequisites

  • Everyday product practice (backlog, roadmap, specs) with an engineering team.
  • An account on a chat assistant; a free plan is enough for most exercises.
  • Being able to read a chart and compute a percentage; no statistics training is needed, SQL helps but is optional.

How the path is built

The path follows a PM's work cycle: delegate what can be delegated, decide what to build, specify it, then measure. AI helps at every stage without ever replacing your judgement.

  1. Stage 1

    Delegate to AI

Decide what to hand to AI, write prompts that produce usable results, check what it produces and set up an assistant for recurring tasks. You leave with prompts tested on your own deliverables and a configured assistant.

Prompting for Product Managers: delegate, describe, verify

  2. Stage 2

    Decide by outcomes

Choose between initiatives based on the outcomes you aim for, pick the right prioritisation method and publish a Now, Next, Later roadmap. You finish with the roadmap of your product, tied to measurable outcomes.

Prioritize and build an outcome-based roadmap

  3. Stage 3

    Specify for people and agents

Write a spec that an engineer and an AI coding agent can execute without guessing, with testable criteria, then check that what ships matches the intent. You leave with the spec of a feature and its versioned intent file.

Write specs that developers and AI agents understand

  4. Stage 4

    Measure and decide

Instrument the product, read funnels and cohorts, then design and analyse an A/B test when it is the right method. You leave with a tracking plan, a dashboard, an experiment protocol and decision memos.

The common thread and the final deliverable

The common thread is your product and one bet you move forward: prioritised in the roadmap, specified for the team and the agents, then measured.

Final deliverable: A decision → spec → measurement cycle backed by AI.

The 5 courses, in order

Each course has its own page: detailed syllabus, prerequisites and deliverable.

  1. Prompting for Product Managers: delegate, describe, verify

    Junior2 hr 45 min

Make AI a reliable tool for your PM deliverables: what to delegate, how to describe, how to verify, then an assistant set up for recurring tasks.

  2. Prioritize and build an outcome-based roadmap

    Advanced2 hr 30 min

Arbitrate between streams of work from measurable outcomes and publish a Now, Next, Later roadmap that owns its uncertainty.

  3. Write specs that developers and AI agents understand

    Advanced2 hr 30 min

Write a spec a developer and a coding agent can execute without guessing, then check that what ships matches the intent.

  4. Instrument a product and use data to make decisions

    Advanced3 hr 30 min

Instrument an existing product as a team (tracking plan, identity, quality, CNIL compliance), analyse funnels and cohorts, and bring a data-backed decision.

  5. Design and analyze an A/B test

    Advanced3 hr

Decide whether to test, write the protocol, size it, analyze without fooling yourself, and decide.
